Meriti Privacy Policy

Meriti CloudAi Broker (hereinafter “the Company”) in accordance with the applicable data protection laws in each country, is responsible for protecting the Personal Data that it manages and handles from natural persons with whom it establishes a commercial or any other type of relationship, making the following known to its Clients, Suppliers, Collaborators or any interested person in the services of the “Company”:

Definition of Personal Data

In accordance with the law, “Personal Data” is understood to mean any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “Personal Data”). For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the terms used herein and not defined herein shall have the meaning attributed to them in the law.

Use of Personal Data

The Company declares that Personal Data, in an enunciative but not limited way, will be used for the following purposes:

Organizing events related to the Company’s activities; Attending to requests from the corresponding authorities, in accordance with applicable legislation; Using them to generate statistical reports for research, analysis, promotions, benefits and/or services; Sending notifications regarding changes to this Privacy Notice.

In this sense, Personal Data may be shared with affiliates, subsidiaries, controllers, shareholders, suppliers and third parties with whom there is a commercial relationship, for the fulfillment of contractual obligations, requirements of competent authorities, compliance with the various obligations derived from their employment relationship and those inherent to the Company’s corporate purpose, without prejudice to the exceptions indicated by law.

The information that the natural person uses within social networks in which the Company participates as a user, is not considered as Personal Data and, therefore, is not subject to the content of this document, being the responsibility of the person who publishes it.

Rights of the Data Subject

In accordance with the law, the natural person has the right of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the Processing of their Personal Data. That is why if the natural person, the holder of the Personal Data, does not wish their information to be processed for the purposes indicated above, they can notify the Company of their objection to the processing or use of their Personal Data.

Personal Data Processing

The list of Personal Data that, in an enunciative but not limited way, we may process and/or transmit consists of:

  • Full name(s) and surname(s);
  • Address;
  • Tax Identification Number;
  • Copy of proof of address;
  • Nationality;
  • Bank account number and data;
  • Email addresses;
  • Phone numbers;
  • Tax information;
  • Official identification with photograph (passport, voter ID, professional ID);
  • Copy of immigration document (if applicable);
  • Image recorded from the Company’s surveillance cameras.

The Company may collect Personal Data in different ways:

Website and Meet Transcriber

The Company collects, uses, shares and protects the personal information you provide when using the Chrome extension “Meet Transcriber” and when accessing our website meriti.ai. The information we collect:

Website meriti.com: Name, email, phone, job title and company. Chrome extension: The “Meet Transcriber” Chrome extension does not collect personal information from users. It does not use Workspace APIs for development or for the improvement and training of AI/ML models.

Security, Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Meriti has implemented security, technical and administrative measures to safeguard and ensure the integrity of Personal Data.

The Company has designated the Legal Department as the custodian of Personal Data, which will process the requests of the natural persons who are the holders of the Personal Data, promoting the protection thereof, in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Notice.

The Data Subject may present or send to the Company’s Legal Department a request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition, with respect to their Personal Data. The Company will respond within a maximum of 15 (fifteen) calendar days or the maximum allowed by law and, if applicable, will make the determination effective within the 15 (fifteen) calendar days following the date on which it communicates the response or the maximum allowed by law. The deadlines may be extended in the terms indicated by law.
